Bristol Wagon & Carriage Works Co. Built to be horse drawn. Measuring approximately 12 ½ feet long by 7 ¼ feet wide. Doors front and back. Grease caps stamped with manufacturer’s name. Front and back windows etched with initials HRP. Kept under cover for the last 20 years, except for one summer out. Partially restored in early 2000’s to keep structure sound but much is original including the undercarriage, wheels, grease caps, cut-glass windows (all of the lantern and three of the four front/back windows). Original wooden roof was covered with 6mm ply and fibreglass on top of this so wagon is watertight, but a purist could remove this if so desired. Repainted in 2008 with Craftmaster Paints. Some of the original wood round the back windows now needs work. Would make a nice light project for someone to touch up or repaint, decorate and furnish. Happy to supply more photos and further information on request.

22ft Showman Caravan Orton and Spooner - 22' showmans caravan for sale. Built in 1905 I am told, but the makers plate is no longer on it . It was the booking office for the Bristol Packet before moving to us in North Pembrokeshire . It is in need of some renovation but is basically sound. I towed it from the field down to our yard with no problems . Renovation is not something we wish to do hence the sale . I am looking for sensible offers bearing in mind these are rare and the opportunity to own one doesn't arise very often . |
