Children's Bowtop Caravan
"Cherry Bow"
Professionally Restored 2012

Originally commissioned by the lady director of Saatchi and Saatchi in the 1960s, this waggon was one of a pair that was used for a photoshoot with The Beatles. The waggon resided with her in London for many years until she retired to Wales. After she passed away many years later, it was dry stored in a barn.
Built on an original London market stand trolley (circa 1900s), the caravan has a completely new solid roof of T&G construction with a new canvas sheet. The main body is finished in Tekaloid coach enamel - crimson lake with rich cream underworks. The caravan throughout is embellished with stunning gold enamel acanthus carvings & scroll artwork, complemented with deep cherry motifs.
Also included :- (not shown in pics) new canvas door capes, draw pole shaft and splinterbar, steps (as seen).
Waggon Dimensions:
Width - 4ft 5" (widest part)
Height - 6ft 8" (floor to top)
Length - 7ft 2" (body)
